DBS
Disclosure & Barring Service check
If you are using childcare vouchers or tax-free childcare in England your nanny will need to be registered with OFSTED. It is a mandatory requirement for registration that the nanny has had an enhanced DBS check and has an up to date and clean DBS certficate to show this. If the nanny does not have such a certificate and the employer has not arranged a DBS check by another route, PAYE for Nannies can arrange to get this done. The check can take up to 12 weeks.
Please note that this service is only available to clients using one of our payroll services (Bronze, Silver or Gold).
